Stop Wasting Time And Start Using Hypnosis for Confidence

Self hypnosis is a faster path to a more self confident you

How to Boost Your Self-confidence Using Hypnosis

Low self-confidence surprisingly affects a large number of people.  This trait is very damaging as it holds you back from achieving your full potential because it creates self-doubt in your abilities. It tends to be like a self-fulfilling prophecy because you stop yourself from taking risks in life that could lead to greater success and happiness.

And there's no doubt that improving your self-confidence can help you achieve more in all aspects of life; in your career and relationships.

Self-confidence is best built by having positive, successful experiences. Positive affirmations can also be helpful, too, especially if you replace the negative things you used to say to yourself with “positive opposites.” But affirmations take longer than having positive experiences -- they can really create a shift in your self image and provide powerful proof to your mind that you can have success. And as the saying goes, success breeds success, right?

Wait, you might be saying. How can I build my self confidence with positive, successful experiences when I lack the self confidence to put myself out there and take those risks?

That is where hypnosis shines.  In hypnosis, your mind can’t tell the difference between an experience you are having in your mind, and real life.  Want proof?  Ever go to a movie and jump at the scary parts?  Or cry at the sad parts?  Why would you do that? You “know” you’re just watching a movie and it isn’t real, right?

Well, your conscious mind knows you’re just watching a movie and it isn’t real, but your subconscious mind does not.  Because you are in a state of narrowed, focused attention you have moved into a light hypnotic state and in that state your subconscious mind responds as if what is happening on the screen is real.

Likewise, in hypnosis, when you are experiencing scenes in your mind of taking risks and feeling confident and reaching goals, those experiences are seen as really happening by your subconscious mind and start to change your self-image.

Done on a consistent, repetitive basis (one of the ways the subconscious mind learns is repetition), your self image changes significantly enough that you start feeling more self confident, and therefore you act more self confident and the world around you responds differently to the new, more confident you.

Because of this, hypnosis is among the most effective, fast and safe ways to build self-confidence.

By contrast, imagine for a moment trying to improve your confidence and self image by setting yourself up to have successful, confidence-building experiences in your life.  The challenge is that your "lack of confidence" program is already running, and that's who you show up as. People sense that and respond to it and you run the risk of having an experience that just reinforces the self image you already have, rather than helping you to change.  As they say, "do what you've always done, and you'll get what you've always gotten."

Using self hypnosis allows you to behave differently in a safe, gentle environment, with the advantage of using your subconscious mind.  You can create different experiences and have success and your subconscious mind will change your self image and increase your confidence accordingly -- as if it all actually happened.

Hypnosis for self confidence

The British Society of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis describes hypnosis as a state of mind involving a narrowed focus of attention. In clinical hypnosis or when using downloads, that narrowed attention is focused on the appropriate suggestions being made by the therapist.

The procedure of using hypnosis to address a condition is called hypnotherapy. This has been used in clinical settings to work with mental trauma victims, people who wet beds, anxiety, stress, depression, negative habits and of course, low self-confidence.

During hypnosis, the client is put in a trance-like state by a hypnotist. In this state, the client experiences a higher state of awareness focused on the hypnotist’s voice and hypnosis is used to create changes in the mind, including positive changes in self image and self worth that results in greater confidence.

Hypnosis allows you to make changes that you would not easily be able to make while conscious. This is because hypnosis targets the sub-conscious mind. Ideas planted while under hypnosis are able to penetrate deeper and stick without the mind rejecting it simply because it doesn’t match your past experience.

Self-confidence

Hypnosis is effective in boosting self-confidence as it can plant self-affirming thoughts and experiences and very importantly feelings in the subconscious much more quickly than any other method. For example, say you want to start dating confidently. A hypnosis session can make you feel attractive and sexy and confident about yourself, making you approach your dates with better confidence. Without hypnosis, this can only happen after a series of trials where much of the result is up to, well, luck. Why not program your luck with hypnosis, and create your own?

So, stop wasting time and risking deepening your lack of self confidence by trying to do it through your conscious mind, and real life experiences.  You CAN feel and act more confidently, more quickly and more safely, using self hypnosis.

If you're in the market for some self confidence, I offer several hypnosis downloads that can help you achieve your goals, safely and more quickly.

Positive affirmations can also be helpful, especially if you replace the negative things you used to say to yourself with “positive opposites.” This includes telling yourself and being told by others that you can achieve what you set out to achieve. The reverse happens in cases of a self-confidence crisis. You feel you are not up to the task because you have failed before, and someone or something constantly reminds you of this failure.

I like the fact that hypnosis removes every barrier between the experiences you imagine and real life experiences. The subconscious mind is really powerful.
